The harmonic balancer bolt on the LS series Corvette engines was designed by GM for a one time use (TTY). Once it has been torqued it can not be re-used. It is recommended to always replace this bolt when the replacing or servicing the harmonic balancer. Fits 1997-2013 Corvettes including LS1, LS2, LS6 and LS3 Corvettes w/o dry sump oil system.
