GM installed a dual master cylinder in all 1967 and later Corvettes as a safety feature. Multiple reservoirs allows for continued braking if a rupture takes place in your front or rear brake system. Now you can get that same security for your older mid-year Corvette by installing a Zip conversion kit.
The 1963-1966 dual master cylinder kit converts your single reservoir to the 1967 style master cylinder. Complete bolt-on kit includes:
- New 1967 style master cylinder (1" bore)
- Proportioning valve with bracket
- Brake lines to proportioning valve
- Brake line to left front brake line block
- Brake line to left rear block
- Brake line frame blocks
Note: This bolt-on dual master cylinder kit requires no modification to original parts and does not require any custom lines or connections to be made. Conversion back to original is possible when desired.
