Does your Corvette's temperature gauge read correctly? For years the only available temperature sending units were GM/DELCO, and for years they were not calibrated correctly which provided an incorrect resistance for the gauge.
Zip Corvette has new reproduction sending units designed as original with original type terminal connection, housing and resistance (thermistor). Our new sending units produce accurate gauge readings. Includes correct button type terminal for all 1957-1967 Corvettes.

I installed one of these on my 61 Corvette and now the gauge reads accurately. I bought another to install on a 1960 Impala and the temperature gauge (which has no number markings, just a C and H at the ends of the needle travel) sticks straight up at 180. So, it works!

Installed the temp sending unit and warmed up the car. The temperature gage is reading correctly
(180 degree thermostat, temp gage trading right at 180). Highly recommend the product.
Correct SensorReview by Jeff Reviewed on 4/28/2016
After replacing my old 1957 original sensor with a 1957 sensor from Rock Auto, my in dash temperature readings were extremely high. Then I was advised that the aftermarket sensors are not calibrated correctly, and the 1957 sensor from Zip was recommended. After installing the Zip sensor, my in dash readings are lower and at levels to be expected. It pays to buy a more expensive but correct reading sensor. Thanks Zip.
