Eliminate the troublesome 1976-1977 Corvette air condition VIR assembly and update your Corvette's air condition system to an accumulator/orifice tube system, as found on later model corvettes. This evaporator conversion works very well especially when updating the a/c system for 134a refrigerant. Conversion kit includes a new evaporator & tube seals, accumulator, & mounting hardware, manifold hose assembly, liquid line tube, smart orifice tube, low pressure cycle switch, binary switch, wiring harness, and O-rings. Everything needed to make the conversion from the VIR assembly.
Note: Correct conversion for 1976 Late - 1977 Corvettes with R4 Compressor.
