Nylon headlight gears commonly fail over time due to their brittle composition. Replacement gears are available (made of improved materials), or, for a more durable fix install bronze gears instead. 1988-1996 Corvette headlight motors include a single gear with replaceable nylon headlight bushings. This kit includes both the upgraded bronze gear and 3 motor bushings for a complete repair.
