LS engines ingest a large amount of oil through the PCV system which can lead to a poor running engine and even create a condition to cause engine knock. By installing an oil catch can you eliminate this while still keeping the PCV system in tact and allowing the system to function as designed. Instead of oil entering the intake and getting mixed with fuel in the cylinders - the catch can traps the oil from entering back into your Corvette's engine.
Mightymouse "Wild" oil DRAFT can is designed for enthusiasts who want a PCV system AND high HP. Clean air comes into the crankcase to filter out particles/fumes/moisture during regular driving and is constantly scavenged back out by intake manifold vacuum (just like stock). Boost is blocked from entering the can / engine, the oil is caught before it is consumed, crankcase pressure is relieved , and minimal fumes are recirculated during full load, so the engine can make power with as much clean fresh air as possible. Because of the special configuration; we are no longer 'restricted' by the factory system, and can connect to the crankcase with full-flow or multiple fittings to accommodate high HP.

Note: Zip does not recommend the use of the "Wild" oil catch can for use on road racing applications. "Mild" oil catch cans should be used to eliminate filling the oil catch can up during an road coarse event.
