Our rebuild service starts with a full disassembly of the transmission and cleaning all parts. Cases are cleaned in our shot blast process which restores their outward appearance. All internal components are inspected to make sure they meet factory specifications. Transmissions are then rebuilt using all new bearings, syncros, bushings, and seals.
Additional cost may be incurred depending on the condition of transmission gears and clusters which are not replaced during a standard rebuild. These components are available and can be priced during the rebuild process.
All work is backed by Zip's satisfaction guarantee and includes a 1-year unlimited mileage warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Warranty does not include damage done to transmission by neglect or abuse. This is a service only and transmission must be included with the order.
