Note: 2 1/4" spring width, 6 full length leafs and 3 "short" leafs, spring rates 140/196 lb with a design load of 1306 lbs. Free arch of 8 11/16". Manufactured with the correct type of spring steel, SAE5160 High Alloy Spring Steel. 1963 Corvette rear springs featured a common curvature on all leaves; the top 3 leaves on 1964 and later springs were flat. This spring features the flat top 3 leaves.
Each spring ships with clips banding the leaves together so they do not fan out during shipment. The clips are easily removed.

In order to survive, Frank and Grace Eaton decide to take a huge risk - they sold everything they owned and bought the aftermarket division of Detroit Steel Products for $11,000.
