Shark-era Corvettes are commonly found with rusty birdcage body supports and floor pans due to water leaking through windshield post or frame assembly, Water collects under the frame moldings and in the channels, causes rust through, which then allows water to leak into the interior compartment. Repair can only be properly done by cutting out the original rusted components and welding in a new windshield frame.

Zip's new reproduction 1973-1982 windshield frame lower inner corners will repair the frame area at the top of the cowl where the bottom of the windshield frame or lower center section meets the side post.
