Each aspect of the pad design has been carefully considered to deliver maximum performance, durability, and results. Featuring a high-grip Velcro backing for maximum adhesion and minimal pad slip, these pads will hold tighter to your machine reducing the chances of an errant pad or mid-polishing delamination in even the most extreme conditions. We made further improvements to our already excellent Gen6 foam pad design, shortening the overall diameter to 5.5" and removing some of the thickness in the pad, to improve feel and decrease vibration. The convoluted face generates less heat, and the tapered edge design provides stability that can withstand the rigors of today's large orbit machines like the Adam's Swirl Killer. To aid with cooling, plus reduce weight, each pad has a precision cut center hole that can also be used to aid in centering the pad on the backing plate. They now have a lower price when compared to our older Generation 5 pads as well.
The specially selected White foam used in the construction of the Adam's 6" White Foam Finishing Pad pairs up perfectly with the color coordinated Adam's Finishing Polish to remove fine marks, refine paint, and unlock a flawless high gloss shine. The ultra-fine polishing foam has been purposely selected to polish and finish with a flawless shine every time.
Extensive testing and development was done to make sure that each aspect of the Adam's 5.5" Orange Foam Cutting Pad maximizes performance on a variety of polishers, but they are purpose built to maximize performance of the Adam's Swirl Killer, Rupes LHR15ES Mk II Bigfoot Polisher, or Porter Cable 7424 XP equipped with a 5" backing plate.
When he was nine, Adam Pitale started his own bike repair business. By the age of 12, he hired another boy from the neighborhood and during high school and college, his mobile detailing operation focused on limousine fleets. After college, The Coca-Cola corporation hired Adam and his company. Adam’s Premium Car Care was responsible for detailing the 3,400 vehicle fleet over a 24 month period. Using what they learned caring for these large fleets, Adam developed a product line and began selling at swap meets. Eventually, his business took off and they began selling to dealers across the country. Zip uses Adam’s Car Care Products because they work.
