C7 Corvette Wide Body Conversion Kit

Packed tight - that's one way to describe GM's use of space in the rear of the C7 Corvette. If you're looking to put some more meat on the ground, you'll quickly realize that GM made use of every inch of space between the fenders and frame rail. Short of buying a new Z06, there's not any other method to get more rubber tucked inside the fenders.

Until now……. The designers at Advanced Composite Engineering have been working diligently since the introduction of the Stingray Corvette to offer a solution to this dilemma. The new ACS C7 Corvette Wide Body Conversion Package includes everything you need to "stretch" the rear of your base model Corvette - making it possible to get those factory 20 x 12" wheels or even custom 20 x 13" (from the likes of CCW or Forgeline) inside the fenders.

The complete package includes RTM rear quarters, fender extensions, inner fender liners, and quarter ducts. Everything needed for a factory style conversion.

ACS's C7 Corvette body panels are manufactured using RTM (Resin Transfer Molding) technology, which creates an OEM quality Corvette part. Fiberglass is injected into a mold and then compressed under high pressure. This manufacturing method creates a panel that is smooth on both sides with a consistent thickness across the entire surface. The controlled fiberglass/resin composition of RTM reduces cure times and eliminates the possibility of "wet" parts being removed from the mold prematurely. All of which is impossible with the standard hand laid process. Panels are then trimmed using a CNC robotic water jet for a clean, smooth cut on every part. The result is a better fitting panel, reducing body shop installation and fitment times.

Conversion kits are available with Smooth Style Rocker Extensions or Z06 Style Rocker Extensions.

Note: Complete your C7 Corvette wide body conversion with Side Rocker Panels available in primer (to be painted), satin black or pre-painted in Carbon Flash.

Rear Spoiler is quite efficient to produce down force for this power monster.

Is the installation of this kit able to be installed by the average mechanic or does it have to be professionally installed? Also, do the rocker extension also bolt on and is there any fabrication needed?
