New replacement 1968-1979 Corvette differential front pinion flange - attaches to the pinion gear of the differential. 4 5/16"" u-joint dimension - fits 1968-1970 automatic and all 1970-1979 Corvettes. Includes u-joint straps, pinion nut and washer for installation.
Differential front yokes were not designed to be taken off and re-installed without changing the pinion crush sleeve. When torqued - the crush sleeve provides the tension or force between the two bearings required for the correct rolling torque setup on the differential. Zip recommends replacing the crush sleeve when installing a new front pinion flange.
Zip also offers complete rebuild kits including all bearings, seals and shims to properly rebuild your Corvette's rear differential.
