The 2019 Corvette was the final installment of the C7 generation and the last of the traditional front engine models. It continued to push the performance envelope with 4 models available in coupe or convertible: the Corvette Stingray, the Corvette Grand Sport, the Corvette Z06 and the Corvette ZR1.

Standard on all 2019 models: 6.2-liter V8 engine matched to a 7-speed manual gearbox, rearview camera, 9-speaker Bose audio system with Bluetooth, Android Auto/Apple CarPlay capability and Wi-Fi.

Not seen since 2009, The 2019 ZR1 made its return with a completely new front, wider body, and lots of optional exposed carbon bits, including the hood, the quarter panel inserts, the side rockers, the front splitter, the rear wing and the removable top. The ZR1's new pushrod V8 featured a 52-percent larger supercharger than the Z06's LT4, as well as GM’s first dual-injection system, to get 755 horsepower and 715 lb-ft of torque. It was the most powerful production car ever built by GM, hitting a top track speed of 212 mph. ZR1 coupe base price: $122,095.

Kelly Blue Book named the 2019 Corvette #1 on its list of the 10 Best Road Trip Cars. C7 Corvette production ceased in the summer of 2019, making way for Corvette's Next Generation.
