2001-2004 Airaid C5 Cold Air Intake With Red Oiled Filter
At the core of the system is a high-performance AIRAID premium air filter, engineered to provide excellent airflow while maintaining superior filtration. Incoming air is routed through a specially designed intake tube constructed from cross-linked, high-density polyethylene. Using advanced computer modeling, the intake tube is shaped to maintain proper mass airflow sensor readings and preserve factory calibration.
The system is designed to work seamlessly with factory engine management components, including provisions for the original mass air flow sensor, inlet air temperature sensor, and crankcase vent tube. Because the system maintains proper air-to-fuel ratios, installation does not require ECU recalibration.
