Bilstein
In 1873, Bilstein started producing metal window fittings. The company’s window fittings quickly achieved international acclaim. With newly acquired American technology, Bilstein’s first entry into the auto market was a chrome bumper in 1928. This bumper would go on to be the first chrome bumper for mass-produced cars.
