The High Performance Street compound offers a higher coefficient of friction than stock brake pads and can provide you with 20-40% more stopping power and greater resistance to brake fade than most standard replacement pads. Less fade means you will have a highly durable brake pad with less brake dust.

Note: Hawk Performance burnishes its High Performance Street brake pads as a final step at the factory, but all brake pads must be bedded-in with the rotors (new or used) they will be used against. Proper bedding-in of new brake pads results in the formation of a transfer film at the pad-rotor interface, thereby maximizing brake performance.
