Type-VS Dry carbon fiber hood for 2014-2019 Corvette C7 Stingray and Grand Sport Road race-inspired hood vent - enlarged for heat extraction. Autoclave process with pre-preg3K, 2x2 twill carbon fiber cloth. Dry carbon does not have UV protection, it is recommended to have it coated with automotive grade inhibitors if you do not plan to paint or wrap the part. Dry carbon fiber matte finish. Mounts with OEware.
All hoods require hood pins for safety reasons. Heat shield required. The use of a hood prop rod is highly recommended.
Hand crafted; approximate weight 13.0 lbs. Anderson Composites does not suggest installing "aftermarket gas shocks/clear coat with UV dampers/struts.
