The Steeroid conversion will replace your Corvette's out of date recirculating ball steering with a rack & pinion kit for improved feel, greater control, and faster turns. Bolt-on install uses only basic hand tools and requires no permanent modifications to your Corvette. Which means you can turn back to stock any time you desire.

This conversion system is designed for a factory power steering equipped 1965-1966 396/427 Corvette. The rack & pinion conversion replaces the factory steering box, power steering valve, power steering cylinder (ram) and drag link assembly.

Note: You can convert your factory manual steering 1965-1966 396/427 Corvette to power steering and use the Steeriod's power rack & pinion conversion. Zip Corvette will purchase used or original Corvette power steering cylinders or valves. If you're replacing your original power steering components with new reproductions - call a Zip salesperson for more information about selling your Corvette's factory power steering valves and cylinders. Purchased original valves and cylinders must be rebuildable.
