1965-1966 Big Block Borgeson Steering Box with Hose & Coupler

Replace your leaky control valve and feel the road with a new Borgeson integral power steering conversion. Borgeson 2nd-generation power steering conversion box for your 1963-1982 Classic Corvette. This Borgeson conversion box is a newly manufactured, integrated power-steering gearbox. This modern quick-ratio steering box offers fewer turns lock-to-lock and a great modern steering feel. Borgeson has manufactured this box to bolt directly to the factory mounting location and to fit the stock pitman arm. The kit includes a new two-piece, OEM-style rubber power steering hose kit and a rag joint to connect to the stock column. The factory column will need to be collapsed or shortened 2-1/4" for clearance of the conversion box. Corvettes with factory-style power steering also require a drag link adapter.

Conversion Box Specs:

Input shaft: 11/16"-36 spline.

Pitman shaft: 1-1/8" GM with 32 splines and 4 master splines.

Pressure port: 16 mm x 1.5 flare (located closest to engine).

Return port: 16 mm x 1.5 flare (located closest to input shaft).

Maximum pressure: 1450 PSI maximum operating pressure, 1100-1250 optimal.

Flow rate: 2.0-2.5 GPM (recommended flow rate)

Rag Joint Specs:

18mm D-shaft X 3/4-36 spline.

2-7/8" overall length.

3-1/4" outside diameter.

Bolt and pin spacing is 2-7/16" on center.
