68-72 Black Ice Custom Expansion Tank
Expansion tanks, often referred to as recovery tanks allowed for expansion or recovery of coolant as the engine temperature rises. Expansion tanks equipped Corvettes used radiators without radiator caps. A tube and rubber hose connected the expansion tank to the radiator.
