New reproduction 1968-1976 Corvette shifter lower console front reinforcement. This reinforcement attaches to the front of the lower console and provides support for both the center console gauge cluster and radio side panel attachment.
Note: The 1/8 inch holes to retain the forward console side trim panels must be drilled in the bracket when installing. Research has determined original reinforcement had the 1/8" holes but they were re-drilled on the production line as the as the holes were not in the correct location for the radio side trim panel to fit properly. This was due to the variance when aligning the interior plastic panels.
