New replacement 1968-1977 Corvette gas tank for fuel injection equipped Corvettes. Powder coated gas tanks contain the required internal baffling to ensure uninterrupted fuel flow for late model EFI engines. Perfect for vette rod enthusiast dropping in an LS3 or converting to a late-model fuel injection system. Tank features a recess for the fuel pump and sending unit, providing adequate space for fuel lines and wiring without having to modify the Corvette.
This gas tank can be used on all 1968-1977 Corvettes when converting or upgrading to an electronic fuel injection system, such as the FiTech fuel injection system. To complete the conversion on 1975-1977 Corvettes - you'll need to purchase the 1968-1974 gas tank filler assembly to replace your Corvette's factory filler assembly that was part of the gas tank sending unit.
Note: EFI fuel tanks are designed for an internal fuel pump and related sending unit - factory Corvette fuel tank senders can not be used with this tank.
