Zip has established special pricing on complete 1968-1974 Corvette exhaust systems. All exhaust systems include a complete set of aluminized pipes, reproduction mufflers, clamps, flanges and donut gaskets as required. Built from .070 14-gauge aluminized tubing for long life and exact fit. Everything needed for an installation from the exhaust manifolds back.
Reproduction 1969 427 Automatic 2 1/2" - 2" Corvette WELDEDexhaust system includes:
- Front Header Pipes
- Intermediate Pipes w/ Welded 2" Oval Mufflers
- Donuts, Flanges & Sleeves
To complete your installation, Zip recommends Corvette exhaust hanger kit, # EX-341 and rear muffler hangers, # EX-326 and a new set of exhaust tips. Often time exhaust hangers are damaged or completely broken from years of use and reuse.
Original factory exhaust systems came with the secondary or intermediate pipe welded to the muffler. Zip's "Welded" exhaust systems feature OEM style mufflers with the welded intermediate pipe. This is not to be confused with the OEM high-performance "off-road" exhaust system. Both standard and off-road mufflers came from the factory with the welded secondary pipe. Zip offers exhaust systems in the original design or with clamp together pipes for the preference of our customers.
1969 427 Automatic equipped Corvettes features 2 1/2" exhaust manifolds and 2 1/2" exhaust pipe that necks down to 2" below the exhaust manifold to muffler.
