69 427 Side Exhaust Mufflers - Aluminized

New reproduction 1969 427 Corvette side exhaust mufflers. Made from aluminized steel for a reproduction muffler that looks, fits and sounds as original but will last much longer than the factory carbon steel pipes. Sold in pairs. Made in USA.

Zip's side exhaust mufflers are designed as original and handle the same volume as the factory exhaust pipes. Aluminized mufflers feature stainless end plates and inner supports to help compensate for this area prone to damage for a longer lasting pipe system.

Side exhaust was factory installed on 1969 Corvettes only but will fit all 1968-1969 427 Corvettes with the factory exhaust manifolds. To complete installation on C3 Corvettes that were not equipped with factory side exhaust, Zip Corvette offers custom rear exhaust panels to fill the holes left from the factory undercar exhaust systems. Original 1969 427 side exhaust mufflers will not fit 1970-1974 Corvette due to exhaust manifold changes - however side exhaust mufflers for these later design big blocks are available from Zip Corvette.

Note: Side exhaust mufflers can be shipped via UPS but due to the size of the package a large package additional handling charge that will be applied when placing your order. Zip now offers a "clampable design" with a removable head pipe to help offset these shipping costs. See Zip # EX-2333 for the clampable design aluminized side exhaust pipe.
