69-76 Steering Column Telescopic Lock Rod

New reproduction 1969-1976 Corvette steering column telescopic lock rod - allows for steering column telescopic action. Fits into the top of the steering column upper shaft under the telescopic lever star screw. 4.23" length as original.
Note: Original GM lock rod for 1968-1974 Corvette measured 4.23" long; GM lock rods used on 1975-1976 Corvettes measured 4.30" long. Replacement lock rods measure 4.30" long and when used on 1969-1974 Corvettes the rod places the star bolt an additional .07" from the steering hub which makes the locking ring sit further from the hub and causes an excessive gap between the upper hub and the locking ring. The correct 4.23" telescopic lock rod will solve this issue.
