New replacement 1980-1981 Corvette intake manifold EFE vacuum fitting - thermal vacuum valve or ported vacuum switch. Temperature sensitive switch threads into intake manifold or thermostat housing and controls vacuum to the EFE valve on the exhaust manifold. Often found broken or cracked due to the plastic housing, loss of vacuum control could cause surging, rough idle or engine knocking. 1/2" - 14 thread - 2 port vacuum valve w/vent. Operating range 85 to 95 degrees.
