81 Headlight Wiring Harness (w/ Analog Radio)

Reproduction 1981 Corvette headlight and forward lamp wiring harness. Correct fitment for Corvettes with analog radio and clock in console. Attaches to main dash wiring harness at the firewall and connects to many of the components in the lighting circuit going forward. Connects to the following components:

• Alternator
• Brake Pressure Warning Switch
• Carburetor Electric Choke
• Carburetor Idle Stop Solenoid
• Dash Harness Connection (at firewall)
• Engine Hood Light Connection
• Front Cornering Light (driver & passenger side)

Note: 1981-1982 Corvette forward lamp harness vary depending on whether the alternator power harness was included in the forward lamp or not. This harness was used on Corvettes with the analog radio and clock gauge in center console. The harness includes the alternator or battery charging circuit and does not require the use of an alternator to rear accessory junction block harness part # E-880.

Over time the plastic deteriorates, becoming brittle and cracked, allowing moisture to get into the wire, which in turn causes the copper to begin corroding.
