New reproduction 1984-1985 Corvette headlight knob with tensioned steel mounting clip. This knob is designed to snap on to existing headlight switch rod to prevent disassembly of dash panel for replacement. Simply remove knob by placing a small scribe in the notch on the knob, releasing spring tension holding the knob in place. Once tension is released, knob can be removed and replaced eliminating the need to pull the dash panel assembly apart for replacement.
