Note: 1988-1989 carpet sets do not include door panel carpet. Door panel carpet is included with the purchase of new door panels or can be purchased separately and will include the factory style binding and lower vinyl attachment strip as original included on your Corvette's door panels.
All 1984-1996 Corvette carpet sets are available with either replacement poly-backing or the original-style mass backing. Mass backing was Chevrolet's design enhancement to insulate the C4 interior compartment from both noise and heat. The heavy rubber carpet backing was molded to the rear of the carpet and provided the fit, comfort and acoustical properties they desired. Poly-backing is a more cost efficient replacement to the mass backing and has proven it will withstand years of use. Perfect if you are trying to maintain your C4 Corvette and keep the cost reasonable.
1984-1996 Corvette carpet sets are proudly manufactured in the USA - utilizing the same carpet mills that originally provided cut-pile and TruVette carpets to Chevrolet. In addition, many of the molds used to form ACC's C4 Corvette carpets are the original factory molds that produced the carpet for your Corvette when it was showroom new. Original carpet materials produced using the original carpet molds - new carpet for your Corvette doesn't get any better.
