Over time C5 Corvette roof panels can become quite unsightly, showing the effects of UV sunlight which include polycarbonate coatings deterioration or the development of "spider cracking". Sometimes all it takes is one good hot or cold day and your Corvette's factory roof panel will develop a split right down the middle.
If your 1997-2004 Corvette roof panel is cracked, scratched or broken, here's the perfect alternative to the cost of a new replacement. Original frames are inspected, cleaned and restored. Features super abrasion resistant (SAR) hard coated acrylic panel and installed reproduction side glass weatherstrips, and OEM-style steel edge trim. Guaranteeing our remanufactured Corvette roof panels look as good as a brand new C5 Corvette roof panel. Available in blue tint. D.O.T. approved. Sold on exchange.
Remanufactured C5 Corvette roof panel features include:
- Built to GM specs
- Lifetime warranty against panel separation
- SAR (super abrasion resistant) Hardcoated Lens
- DOT stamped and approved (important for certain state inspections)
- New factory style edge trim
- New weatherstripping
- All hardware thoroughly inspected
Note: All remanufactured roof panels require fitment to your C5 Corvette prior to installation. Fitments can be handled by loosening all mounting points and then installing the roof panel. For proper installation interior moldings may need to be removed, adjusted and door window glass may need to be adjusted. Unlike early Corvette models, it may take several hours to get a proper fitment on fifth-generation roof panels.
