For a real power boost, swap your restrictive C5 Corvette OE air box for Vortex Rammer induction. Pressurized air drawn from the radiator cavity is forced into the sealed Rammer box, where a vortex velocity stack air cleaner injects a mass of cold air directly into the intake. (Lowering manifold air temperature by almost 20 degrees) Remember, cold air means more power. Dyno results have shown increases up to 22hp and 21ft/lbs of torque. Remember, this is without the benefit of the pressurized air that is created at high speeds (which means there will be more horsepower at speeds over 35 mph. 1/4 mile test showed 5 mph and .35 (with the scoop attached). Vortex Rammers are available in black and simulated carbon fiber. Fits 2001-2004 Corvette.
Note: Original radiator shroud must be modified for installation.
