The harmonic balancer bolt on the LS series Corvette engines was designed by GM for a one time use (TTY). Once it has been torqued it can not be re-used. It is recommended to always replace this bolt when the replacing or servicing the harmonic balancer. Fits LS7, LS9 and LS3 with dry sump oil system.
