Factory Z06/ZR1 exhaust uses 3" mid-section pipes, but pinches down to 2.5" at the mufflers resulting in clipped performance, especially when adding bolt-on performance enhancements such as air intake systems, superchargers or head/cam packages. CORSA's 2006-2013 C6 Z06/ZR1 Corvette systems were clean-sheet engineered. Their 3" inlet increases flow to cancel power loss and sounds uncorked at start-up.
