15-19 Z06 ACS Hood Heat Extractor Kit
Since 2015 the chase to evacuate engine heat from the C7 Z06 LT4 Corvette has been a challenge for casual track enthusiasts and hardcore racers alike. ACS Composite has created a way help the challenge of overheating- keeping your Corvette on the track, on the street and looking good all at the same time!
The C7 Z06 Corvette heat extractor conversion kit is designed to upgrade the factory C7 Z06 hood to a true engine extractor hood. Dual extractor inserts are installed over the headers along with a water / heat management panel to the inner structure. While heat is extracted, rain water is channeled to the side rails and safely evacuated at the hinge point away from delicate engine electronics.
Manufactured in ABS-PC plastic, the final assembly exudes design and ingenuity. The exterior panels are offered in Carbon Flash Black to match the original front hood vent. Inner panels are in a textured black finish. Installation will require trimming two openings in the hood using the supplied digital templates and detailed instruction manual. Outer and inner panels are bolted to each other creating a seamless and factory look.
