G-LOC's suggested track day compound for 2014-2019 Corvettes. R8 is a high torque brake compound with a wide operating temperature range of 74°F-1250°F+ (23°C to 676°C+). G-LOC R8 is the first level of their extensive lineup of racing compounds. Good initial bite along with excellent modulation and release characteristics. Extremely high fade resistance and very rotor friendly. Perfect for track day use with any tire and can still be driven safely to and from the track. G-LOC does NOT recommended R8 for daily use on the street due to elevated levels of dust and noise.
Correct fitment for front brakes on Z06 or Grand Sport 2015-2019 Corvettes with J56 brake packages with iron brake rotors.
