The ACS 1VM C8 Front Lip Splitter was designed as an intermediate splitter between the entry level 3 piece OEM Z51 Splitter and the GM 5VM splitter. The splitter is a single-piece construction with no visible seams. The splitter features a winglet-delete (no winglets on the side of the splitter) giving it a sleek and stealthy appearance without sacrificing on its aggressive front end.
Now availible in Carbon Flash Metallic Black! Why Carbon Flash Black? Carbon Flash Metallic Black is a black paint finish with a silver metallic flake in the paint. Carbon Flash matches all C8 Corvette accent pieces on the Corvette including the front grill, rear diffuser, and more.
ACS's C8 Corvette front splitters are made in PC Composite, which is a manufacturing technique generally reserved for high volume production runs due to its expensive tooling. The result is a black molded parts with extreme resistance to heat and scraping capabilities. Since the entire splitter is a black composite, chips and scrapes do not show through as they would on a Carbon Fiber unit, which will typically have a white substrate and are more brittle in comparison.
