New reproduction 1956-1961 Corvette spark plug outer ignition shields - shields attach to the engine block with wing bolts and cover the factory spark plug and spark plug wire. Sold in pairs. Car set.
Ignition shields were originally designed to help reduce interference on radio equipped Corvettes. However, they were often removed during regular engine tune-ups as many found them difficult to reinstall and not worth their time, especially on Corvettes with the tendency to foul plugs. Zip's shields are just like the originals, allowing you to replace these often tossed factory components.
