New replacement 1965-1970 Corvette differential front pinion flange - attaches to the pinion gear of the differential. 3 27/32" u-joint dimension - fits all 1965-1967 and 1968-1970 4-speed Corvettes. Includes u-joint straps, pinion nut and washer for installation.
DIfferential front yokes were not designed to be taken off and re-installed without changing the pinion crush sleeve. When torqued - the crush sleeve provides the tension or force between the two bearings required for the correct rolling torque setup on the differential. Zip recommends replacing the crush sleeve when installing a new front pinion flange.
Note: Will not fit factory 1963-1964 Corvettes as they used a course splined pinion gear. 1965-1967 front yokes are fine splined and will only work on 1963-1964 Corvettes if the ring & pinion has been updated to the fine spline design.
