New reproduction 1966-1967 Corvette left rear spark plug outer ignition shield - stainless shield attaches to the engine block and covers the factory spark plug and spark plug wire.
Ignition shields were originally designed to help reduce interference on radio equipped Corvettes. However, they were often removed during regular engine tune-ups as many found them difficult to reinstall and not worth their time, especially on Corvettes with the tendency to foul plugs. Zip's shields are just like the originals, allowing you to replace these often tossed factory components.
