Nothing changes the exterior of your mid-year or Shark Corvette like the additional of new emblems. Fresh exterior paint just doesn't look right with emblems that have suffered from exposure to moisture and the effects of harmful atmospheric or road elements. All original C2 and C3 Corvette emblems are die cast pot metal, plated and painted - over time this metal develops pits and pockmarks as the metal deteriorates with time and elements. The result is an unsightly look for any Corvette.
Count on Zip Corvette to provide the right emblem you need to complete your Corvette's restoration. Our 1967-1969 427 Corvette hood numerals are correct in every detail. This 6-piece set of "427" hood emblems mount to the side of the raised portion of the hood on all 1967-1969 big block Corvettes. Includes mounting hardware to complete installation.
Note: For the finest Corvette emblem possible, Zip recommends our GM Licensed # T-487 "427" hood numerals. These numerals will be GM Licensed, exact in every detail and have the finest finish available for your Corvette.
Installation difficulty: 2
Our technicians have determined that the installation difficulty level of this item is a 2 on a scale of 1-5. Read more about our install ratings here.
Almost no effort. Either snap on or plug and play. Probably no tools involved.
Simple installation with common tools. Probably less than 20 minutes for installation. Easy enough for
anyone who can read and follow instructions. A good first project for someone with no experience. Hard
to mess up.
A little mechanical experience is helpful but not necessary. Possibly a good first project for those with
a little more confidence. Will probably take more time (20-60 minutes) than #2.
Mechanical experience a definite plus. Not a good first project for the inexperienced. Most likely a 2-3
hour job minimum.
Only for the experienced wrench. Most likely requires good tool collection, possibly special tools and
a fair amount of experience. 95% of people will choose to have this installed by Zip or a professional.
