1968-1974 Corvette gas tank installation kit includes fuel tank mounting straps with anti-squeak pads, strap to frame mount hardware and gas tank lower support anti-squeak pads. The additional items needed to install one of Zip's new reproduction gas tanks into your 1968-1974 Corvette.
Some installation components are included with Zip's 1968-1974 gas tanks including the sending unit retaining ring, sending unit o-ring and the cork gasket for the filler neck mounting.
Note: To aid installation of 1968-1977 Corvette gas tank straps, Zip recommends using a longer bolt to help pull the gas tank strap tight around the tank. The longer bolt allows you to start threading into the strap with a larger gap than the factory installed gas tank strap bolts. Once the strap is pulled tight around the gas tank, the original or reproduction bolt can be installed.
