New replacement 1975-1982 Corvette rear suspension strut rod bushings. Original style rubber strut rod bushing with steel outer sleeve for pressing into factory strut rod. Car set.
Original 1963-1982 Corvette strut rod bushings were molded into the cast iron strut rod. Over time these bushings fail due to rubber deterioration causing issues with alignment. The fix at times has been for the alignment shop to manually bend the strut rod to get the rear wheels in alignment. New bushings feature a "steel" outer shell that will allow you to press them into the original strut rod.
Note: 1963-1974 Corvette original strut rods use 1 1/4" diameter bushings; 1975-1982 Corvette strut rods use 1 3/8" diameter bushings. Please measure strut rods when purchasing bushings as the strut rods have been changed on many early Corvettes to the later design.
