New replacement 1976-1980 Corvette intake manifold EGR vacuum fitting - thermal vacuum valve or ported vacuum switch. Temperature sensitive switch threads into intake manifold or thermostat housing and controls vacuum to the EGR valve. Often found broken or cracked due to the plastic housing, loss of vacuum control could cause surging, rough idle or engine knocking. 3/8" - 18 thread - 2 vacuum ports.
