Reproduction 1978-1982 Corvette headlight on and off switch is manufactured to fit and function as original. Switch includes upgraded internal circuit breaker to handle the original incandescent bulbs, as well as the higher amperage halogen bulbs. Switch also includes built in vacuum connectors. Mounts into dash panel, connects into main/dash harness and accepts the headlight "push/pull" rod and knob. Features dash light dimmer functionality and vacuum ports on backside for correct vacuum headlight lift & closing operation.
Headlight knob/rod can be removed by simply depressing the release button on the top of the switch.
