This item requires $400 of core charges. Customers who have purchased a product sold on an exchange basis and had a core deposit applied must return the required rebuildable core within 30 days from the date of shipment. A copy of the original invoice must accompany the return. Failure to return cores within 30 days may result in a reduction or loss of the core deposit. Return freight for cores is the responsibility of the customer.
Built in-house by our own skilled technicians, each 1980-1982 Corvette differential core is inspected, cleaned and reassembled using all-new parts including ring & pinion gear set, Timken carrier and pinion bearings, OE-style positraction clutch packs and pinion/side yoke seals. New ring & pinion gears are matched sets and properly set-up to eliminate any unwanted "whining" often found with worn-out gear sets.
All Zip Corvette differentials are sold on exchange. Add $400.00 refundable core charge if 1980-1982 Corvette differential core does not accompany order. Cores must include a rebuildable carrier that is not cracked or hollowed out at the center pin and housings must not be broken or welded on. Call your Zip sales representative for details on core charge refunds.
All rebuilt 1980-1982 Corvette differentials are backed by Zip's satisfaction guarantee and include a 3-year unlimited mileage warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Does not include racing or abusive applications.
