Idle air control valve or idle air control actuators (IAC actuator/valve) is used in fuel-injected vehicles to control the engine's idling RPM by allowing air to bypass around the throttle body plate; increasing or decreasing engine RPM based on the ECM parameters of engine temperature or load. A faulty idle air control valve can cause irregular idle speed, check engine lights and engine stalling. New replacement valves will restore your C4 Corvette to its original function. Fits 1982-1984 Corvette with Cross Fire injection.
