Thankfully Zip's scratch-resistant 1984-1996 acrylic roof panel is a perfect replacement for factory originals. Features include correct stamping on blue or bronze tinted acrylic, reproduction original-style aluminum frames and factory style weatherstripping. Comes completely assembled and ready to install using factory hardware. Specify acrylic color when ordering.
Model changes in the 1986 Corvette's made it possible for your Corvette to have 2 different roof panels. Early 1986 design measures 4 9/16" from sunvisor pin to roof panel mounting bolt; late 1986 measures 2 3/4". Verify design on all 1986 Corvettes prior to ordering.
Note: All factory C4 Corvette roof panels require fitment to your Corvette prior to installation. Fitments can be handled by simply loosening all mounting points and then installing the roof panel. Once roof panel is aligned and installed mounting brackets can then be secured on the panel from the inside of the Corvette.
