97-04 Door Panel Mount Repair Retainer

Often times when removing a C5 Corvette door for window regulator or mirror repairs the top of the door panel retianer mount breaks off. The result is a C5 Corvette door panel that rattles and will not stay properly attached to the door.

Now instead of buying a used or new door panel for hundreds of dollars you can quickly and inexpensively repair a door panel that has the "top" of the mount broken off. Simply slide the custom made aluminum repair retainer onto the bottom of the remaining mount, slip the retainer pin into the mount and the unit is held into place with a solid, but movable pressure fit. Now adjust your pin to fit into the center of the door receiver and your door panel is as good as new. This repair retainer will fix any of the 6 mounts found on your C5 Corvette door panel.
