O.E.M. 2005-2013 Corvette knock sensor.
The knock sensor is screwed into your C6 Corvette's engine block or cylinder head and is used to detect engine knock or detonation. The information is relayed to the ECM/PCM (computer) and is used to fine tune ignition timing. A bad knock sensor can cause a faulty code to set and may also cause ignition timing to be skewed.
