New reproduction 1956-1960 Corvette trunk latch mechanism cover plate. Cover plate for trunk latch mechanism assembly.
Note: 1956-1960 Corvette trunk latches were factory installed in the trunk lid and made to fit correctly with the latch striker, then the trunk latch cover was installed. The bottom cover holes are attached to the metal latch mechanism so they will always line up. The upper holes were drilled into the trunk lid when the cover was attached. If holes do not line up - it will be necessary to fill the existing holes and install with new holes.
